Candy is looking for a beautiful family to call her own. TLC K9 Rescue helped a good friend and supporter rescue Candy, from TJ Mexico, about 9 month's ago. When I received Candy into my rescue I noticed that this poor girl was having a hard time breathing. So of course, I took her to a vet and several specialist's there after to figure out what was wrong with Candy. Her CT scan showed blunt trauma to her nose a fracture and a hole in her pallet which was covered over by scar tissue, she also had 4 really infected teeth that needed to be removed and sealed in order to stop water and food from entering her airways. Candy, had surgery last month and thankfully has healed beautiful. This sweet girl has had a very rough life in Mexico. The Specialist said, it was as if she was hit by a car or a horse kicked her. I don't know what really happened to cause such severe trauma, but Candy is no longer living in the past. Shes definitely living in the now!! She's back to health and loves being at home with her foster mama Jacki, her daughter Daisha and their pack of pups. She's the sweetest and most beautiful Husky I've seen in a long time. Candy, is about 5 yrs old now and even though she's calm and has medium energy she still loves to swim, so if you've got a pool watch out cuz Candy will surely take a dive and own it. Lol She loves her walks and is very treat motivated so she's a fast learner !!!! If you are an active family have a yard with a minimum of a 6 foot fence and maybe even a pool for Candy to dive into ‍♀️Lol... Then please message me. Candy can't wait to shower you with love.
