Darla came to us as a very pregnant mama from Tijuana. Her water broke on May 19th and was having a difficult labor that resulted in an emergency c-section. It was apparent as the pups came out that she had been bred by a much larger dog and there was no way they would have been able to be born naturally. Her 1st baby boy did not survive the delivery, and a couple days later 2 more of her babies passed away despite our best efforts to save them. They were just not strong enough. 3 babies remain, one of them is struggling. Darla is a wonderful mother and taking good care of her puppies. Darlas medical bills have added an additional need for donations. No amount is too small! We appreciate every single one.
