Diva, is a 2 yr old Maltese Mix. Diva's story... She was found on the streets of TJ Mexico, hiding under a car from a bunch of dogs trying to get to her. Thankfully, a good Samaritan chased the other dogs away and took her home to keep her safe. She then reached out to a mutual friend of mine who reached out to me. Poor baby was emaciated and weak, so of course I couldn't say no. We picked her up immediately and sent her to our vet. She was very thin about 6 lbs and her bloodwork showed that she was anemic and has Ehrlichia. All her other tests thankfully were negative. I named her Diva, because that's what I wanted for this princess and today she has truly blossomed into a little Diva. We treated her with a dewormer, bravecto, antibiotics, vitamins, good food and clean water. I'm happy to report that Diva's is thriving and her new blood panel looks good. She is healthy and has doubled in weight, she is now almost 12 lbs. This sweet tiny girl deserves the best!! she loves people, older considerate kids and other dogs her size. Diva, is very smart, treat motivated so training will be a snap.
